We visit this place a few times each year, even though it means a drive across town for us. The sushi is, quite simply, the best in town. Like most sushi restaurants, a bit pricey, but in this case, completely worth it. We've had so many different rolls here and they are always so fresh! The Miso soup is one of the best I've ever had. My favorites include the shrimp tempura, california roll and any of the featured rolls that have something spicy in it!

The food tastes very yummy! Very good! I have already tried many Japanese restaurants in Chicago area. It's better than most of the expensive ones I have visited before.

Food tastes great and fresh, price is reasonable, service is wonderful, place is clean with nice decoration. I love everything here such a great place to eat.

My fiancé and I usually have "Sushi Saturdays" at Tokyo Grill. We love it here! Our typical order: soup, salad, sushi combo b along with a speciality maki roll. Its the perfect amount for us. Every time. Some of our favorite speciality rolls are the Norma and Princess. Oh and I highly recommend the onion salad dressing -it's awesome! They are always super busy, but have a lot tables and we have never had to wait... Service is always on par. It's not uncommon to see servers running (literally) from table to table. If you are looking for great sushi and service, check out Tokyo Grill! I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

This place never disappoints. I had another mom/daughter lunch date and we decided on Tokyo Grill again. The same sushi chef (Ko, right?) and waitress recognized my daughter from our visit before and made us feel like serious VIPs. My daughter loved the attention. After ordering her favorite daikon roll, the sushi chef made her a hand roll that was "better than what I ordered!" My salmon roll was delicious and my green tea cup never empty. The people here are lovely and kind and I can't wait to visit again - we're going to bring Nama and get a special table where we take off our shoes. :) You need to visit this place!

Tokyo Grill is by far my favorite place for sushi in the Grand Rapids area. Other sushi restaurants cannot beat the combination of their food quality, taste, portion size, service, presentation, and price. When you walk into Tokyo Grill, you're always welcomed by the chefs (they even thank you for coming as you leave the restaurant). The decor is great and they even have two tatami areas (reservation required). I appreciate that the server welcomes you with a warm towel when your party is seated. They also give you an orange at the end that is usually pretty sweet. I've been to Tokyo Grill numerous times and haven't been disappointed with my order. Their tempura is amazing! It's really crispy compared to other restaurants that normally use a smooth batter. I also like that the Shrimp and Chicken Tempura orders comes with vegetables which includes my favorite, sweet potato! I usually order Cleo's Maki (Spicy Tuna roll with Tempurako on top) and Noodle Soup (smaller portion of Udon) for lunch. If I'm really hungry and want leftovers, I'll order the Beef Hibachi (they always serve good quality beef), Cleo's Maki and Chicken Tempura for dinner. Hibachi orders do come with a salad. The server will ask if you want ginger or onion dressing. You can't go wrong with either of them but my personal favorite is onion dressing. Sometimes I order a pint of onion dressing to take home because it's too good to resist. My other favorite dishes at Tokyo Grill include Agedashi Tofu, Udon Noodles, Yaki Udon, Celebration Maki, Cobra Maki, Greg's Maki, Tokyo Grill Maki, Volcano Maki, and Red Bean and Green Tea Ice Cream.

I'm updating my review for my dine-in experience the other day. I stopped in around 3:30pm on a weekday and there was only one other party there. Service was quick, which is what I was hoping for. I got miso soup and 3 basic maki. The flavors were still very subtle (too subtle for my taste), and the rolls are pretty small. I saw on the menu that you can make any roll spicy for an extra 75 cents each. I'm not cheap, but I think that's silly. I always want all my rolls to be spicy. The fish was fresh, and the flavors of the rolls were all balanced well, it just was kind of...boring.

Came here with my boyfriend on a weeknight and was surprised how many people were there, especially for the location. It's located in dark a half empty shopping complex so we were a bit sceptical at first but once you step in its like entering a large but still homey sushi restaurant. When we sat down they brought out hot towels for our hands which was very nice and refreshing. I got the house sake to warm up from the below zero temperatures of Michigan winter and asked the waitress for suggestions. I ended up getting the Dragon (I absolutely love unagi) and the Cali-shrimp maki, boyfriend got the beef hibachi sushi combo. The Cali - shrimp maki was exactly a Cali roll with shrimp - should have tried something different next time since boyfriends combo dinner came with Cali rolls. The dragon roll was so good! It had lots of eel and fresh ingredients in the filing. Boyfriend very much enjoyed the dinner combo which included a salad, hibachi beef and veggies (mushroom, zucchini, onions), rice, ginger sauce, nigiri(salmon, tuna, shrimp) and 6 pieces in the Cali roll. The fish was very fresh, definately want to try their sashimi next time. People around us were having the dinners which looked really yummy too... We will be coming back!

I have eaten a lot of sushi and Maki rolls in a variety of restaurants, but this restaurant is the best of them all. I don't usually gravitate to restaurants in strip malls because ambiance is important to me. The designers must have been mindful of this image, because they made an effort to create an atmosphere that feels private, unique and inviting. The service was stellar. Our server was superb, friendly and gracious. The food was delicious. We were so impressed that we ordered more Spicy dynamite and The Big Dan's Special. Everything was delicious. Don't shy away because it's in a strip mall. This is a fabulous restaurant!

I've been here 3x and never been disappointed! Every time I'm in town this place is a must. Friendly staff, clean dinning, and FRESH sushi!

Good food and sushi. Would go again, but Haru is closer, more affordable and super delicious.

Hidden away in a little strip mall. Never would have found this place without a recommendation from a coworker. It was outstanding food. Not a fancy place, but the flavors with clean and bright. Will come back whenever I'm in town.

  • R S.

I really wanted to give this place a chance, but was extremely disappointed. We ordered mostly maki sushi rolls, as wanted to avoid the other Japanese dishes. The prices were hard on the wallet, given the small portions of these rolls that lacked spirit. The fish, combined with other ingredients, lacked freshness, and/or depth in flavor. The rice was dry, and so were the fish. We would never return given the price you have to pay for this low quality and quantity of food!

  • Hannah F.

Absolutely incredible! I did not expect much from this "hole in the strip mall" restaurant, but the food is amazing and the atmosphere is great! Very flavorful, genuine, elegant dishes. Great variety of sushi and noodle options. Great service every time and very accommodating to groups.

Tokyo Grill is one of my favorite places in Grand Rapids. It's the kind of restaurant I go to with my best of friends and people I haven't seen in a long time. The sushi is great and the bill is never ridiculous. You can actually have a conversation in here and relax!

  • Nora M.

Pleasant atmosphere, tasty food, generous portions. detailed touches, service a bit slow . That's the tl;dr for you. In a strip mall but nicer inside than you'd expect. I had the sushi/tempura bento. Sushi rice was well seasoned, sushi generous size, came with grilled vegetables that were not overdone but nicely charred. The tempura was hot, the breading average. My only complaint was the salad had a lot of water at the bottom. They give you a hot towel at the beginning and orange sections at the end. Nice touches. Soy sauce was better than average.

Hidden gem!! It was our first time visiting this place. They exceeded our expectations with the atmosphere, the service and the exquisite food at incredible pricing. We will be back!!

By far one of my favorite sushi places I've been to. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the hibachi meals are also extremely good. The sushi rolls menu is simple, but everything is really well done. Try the homemade dressings! You can also buy and take them home with you. Sean, the owner, is incredible. Really committed to quality and values his customers. He also is at the bar making sushi a lot of times, so really in tune with what's going on. I look forward to eating here every time I'm home.

    (5)
  • Jason B.

So so. The service was pretty good, but the maki rolls were small and over priced and the sushi was messy. It was as if the fish were cut with a serrated knife. Not sure I will be back. Disappointed.

I am going to rate this with 5 stars because compared to other sushi places in the Grand Rapids/West Michigan area, it is "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" If comparing it to a larger city, I might just give 4. Ambiance is nice, understated but has a distinctly Japanese "feel" to it. The service here honestly leaves something to be desired; it's a bit slow, and some of the ladies have heavy accents (not that this is a bad thing, but a warning to listen carefully!). Point being, don't go here when you're in a major time crunch - go when you have time relax and enjoy. As far as the food, I think the sushi is great - fresh and flavorful. I do agree that there are a lot of rolls with spicy mayo and cream cheese; I happen to like spicy mayo but not so much the cream cheese. In any event, they have all the basic rolls and more traditional rolls, and some fancy maki. You can order any custom roll you want, though, and of course hold the cream cheese and the mayo! I think their udon noodles are also great and tempura. The hibachi is satisfying, and they have beer and wine available.

  • Leslie R.

    O. M. G.! This place has THE BEST sushi in GR! I had the chirashi (fish and veggies on rice) and it was awesome. It comes with a salad and miso soup. Their ginger dressing is very refreshing, and the soup is delish, too. The sushi is very fresh and tender - even the octopus! I normally don't like the chewiness of octopus, but theirs is really good. If you have a hankering for sushi or sashimi, this is the place to go!!

  • Miss M.

It was just okay. Service was not terrible, but also not amazing or memorable. I had a couple different veggie rolls, edamame, and chicken skewers. Food was pretty good, but experience at Maru a couple weeks earlier was better.

  • Megan S.

A great sushi restaurant just done right. I am never disappointed when I come here. The service is always friendly and the food is always impeccably made. I have never had a bad meal here. I don't make it over to that side of town often, but if I'm in the area, I make sure to stop in. I have only been here for lunch time and it is always quite busy.

I've been going here for over 10 years and they have the best sushi I've eaten in the US. Good prices and great food. Highly recommended.

One of the best sushi joints in Grand Rapids. Authentic feel and the spicy tuna rolls are the best!

  • david W.

I will have to say that I have eaten lunch here twice, and the sushi bar is by far one of the top I've been to (in Michigan). I opt for the chirashi lunch, which if you don't know is an assortment of raw fish (I want to say Tuna, Salmon, Mackerel, Squid, Octopus, massago, and crab stick maybe) over rice. There is no hiding of poor ingredients in spicy sauces, garnishes, etc. Both times I went it was great. I will have to say that bringing cash might get you out 5 - 10 min sooner, as the waitresses are usually running around trying to tend tables and they do not have a host(ess) to cash you out. I will be back, and would recommend it to my friends.

Best sushi in GR. We have tried at least 4 other "sushi" places in GR. I love their spicy tuna roll and their California roll. IF you are trying sushi for the first time, Tokyo grill offers a "Beginner Sushi Menu" which is perfect for the first time patron. This menu option offers miso soup, salad (try the ginger dressing!!!) and 12 rolls. More of a cafe type feel with there booths and tables but it is like you are transported into Japan when you step inside. Good service. At the end of your meal, a orange is presented. Love this place!

Great sushi. We tried the Spicy Tekka Maki, Futomaki, Cal-Vada, and the Veggie maki (probably has a different name). My favorite was the futomaki, which was sweet and crunchy, soooo good. My friends love the spicy tekka, which is really good too, I just wanted it to have a crunch. But it is melt in your mouth delicious. The cal-vada is a good twist on the california roll, and much better. The ice creams are yummy too. One friend had the mango, which she loved, I had the green tea mochi, which was fantastic, and the third had tempura fried ice cream, which she loved. Our friend who was lactose intolerant got a free orange for dessert. I think they do that for anyone who doesn't order dessert. It was a nice touch. The server was very good, but towards the end she got a bit pushy. We were sitting and enjoying conversation because two of us are graduating college and wont' be back in the area for a long time. She brought us the check, and we were just talking for about 15 minutes. Now keep in mind the restaurant was nearly empty and it was still 45 minutes to close. She came back and grabbed the check from us along with my friends credit card and rang it up herself. Usually we go up to the register to pay, so this seemed rather rude. Other than that, she was a good waitress, kept on top of water refills, which was great. ps. call ahead for reservations in the cool little rooms on the sides where you take off shoes and sit on the floor. they look like a lot of fun.

Solid Japanese restaurant. Perfect amount of wasabi on white tuna sushi. Their katsu sauce is a little on the spicy side and I enjoy that. Teriyaki meals and miso soup are also good choices. The first time I went there was 5.5 years ago and the quality has stayed consistent. I've never had any problems with the service. Definitely would recommend.

Excellent place! So sad that is far from where I live, but I went here by chance! It is cozy. The staff is nice and friendly. The sushi melts in your mouth as well as the other food. I will definitely make this a place to go to when I can.

Went here last night for my boyfriend's birthday dinner because our usual sushi place, Sushi Kuni, was out of rice - how could they?!? Still determined, we looked to Yelp and landed here. The wait staff was very friendly and the interior was bright and inviting. We even were given warm towels which was completely unexpected. Nice touch there. We started with edamame and ordered 4 specialty rolls - Tokyo Grill, Michigan, Greg, and the Volcano. Now these are listed in the order from most to least favorite, with the Volcano being the last because it was DOUSED with the spicy mayo sauce. Maybe they were going for hot lava theme here? Not sure but practically all of our rolls had it, save for the Tokyo one which had the least. You can tell the bits of fish in there were fresh which is good, but with all that mayo sauce you could hardly enjoy it like you should. Aside from the fish the sushi had an overall cooked taste which is really good if you're into that stuff, but as pseudo-purists it wasn't necessarily what we were looking for. The sushi definitely had more of a fusion flair than having authentic roots. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but if you're looking for fresh, less fusion-y sushi (you know the stuff without cream cheese and spicy mayo everywhere) you might want to look elsewhere.

I consider Tokyo Grill to be one of the first authentic sushi/Japanese restaurants in the GR area. Back before the sushi the explosion that we're experiencing today I would drive from 30+ minutes to TG to get quality sushi. I prefer traditional style nigiri or sushimi, they also offer the sushi "fusion" rolls that are cooked and sauced the way most of West mi prefer. The staff is super friendly, I love the warm towel, and the chilled sliced orange after.

I really miss this place. I changed jobs and no longer work near. It used to be a staple lunch time place for our company. I usually get one of the lunch boxes. If you never hand one check it out they are very fun. I got the teriyaki chicken. Picture your school lunch tray with all its individual compartments, BUT way more tasty and fun. You get your main protien in one, then you get a couple pieces of sushi, rice, a couple different veggies and other new flavors. It looks so very beautiful as well. It is well worth a stop.

This is, hands down, my favorite restaurant. I will say your lunch experience will be different than your dinner experience. I prefer dinner (the hot towels, the oranges, and the waitstaff) over having lunch there. So, just keep that in mind. I love Cleo's Maki. I also enjoy the spicy tuna, green maki, crunchy maki...all of the sushi is excellent. I always get hot green tea and it's great. I love the mugs. I always get a salad because they have THE BEST dressing...the ginger is great, but the onion dressing is my favorite! It's sooooo good! Really fantastic. I enjoy their miso soup - - it's made just right with the seaweed and tofu. We have also tried and really like wasabi sumai, yaki gayoza, edamame, Hibachi, and I'm sure many other items I'm forgetting. Everything has been great. The ONLY item I have ever had that I did not like was the calamari. Don't get that. We come here several times a month and I would say that the dinner service and food quality is always great. I've had sushi elsewhere, but nothing compares to Tokyo Grill. It's in an odd location, in my opinion, being in a strip mall at the southeast corner of 44th and Breton, but I don't care. Once you step inside, sit down and try the food, you will be sold! The water in the sink in the bathroom is always cold...just FYI. The hot towels are great (dinner only) and the oranges are good. too. They don't do hot towels or oranges at lunch, but they give you Orbit gum with your bill instead. Everyone is super friendly and wonderful. There's one waitress at lunch that I'm really not fond of, so I just try to go at night because everyone who works at night is great. They do have alcoholic beverages and Sapporo beer is a nice Japanese beer, so you could always try that. My gf loves the saki. My hubby and I prefer the tea, though. If you want sushi in GR, come here!

    (5)
  • Julia G.

Yes, their sushi is great. But don't you dare walk out that door without having the seafood udon! Ask the waitress to bring you some spicy seasoning, and lay it on until your nose is running. It hurts so good. Their ginger and onion salad dressing is my favorite in the world... get both and mix them!

I've been here twice, once in the regular dining area and once in the tatami room. I'm not an adventurous person when it comes to Asian cuisine but I do love Yakisoba, and that's what I've ordered both times, along with dessert. I have loved the authentic taste this restaurant has for Japanese cuisine and I love love love their tatami room! You have to place a reservation to be able to sit in the tatami room but it really makes the experience. Every time I have been here the service has been nice, not crazy personable but that could be a culture thing. For dessert they have mochi ice cream which you can actually buy across the street at the Asian Delight grocery store, but sometimes it's nice to have it in the moment. :)

Great food but service greatly suffers when busy. We waited 30 minutes tonight before even getting a waitress to take our drink order. Completely unacceptable for a restaurant that charges prices this high. If the place is busy, turn around and go somewhere else. You will be thankful you did.

Absolutely fantastic Sushi. It was the most unexpected place for me to find my favorite sushi spot. But this is where I found it. The Dragon rolls there are to die for. Great service, really friendly staff and really fresh seafood. I normally sit at the bar and know that owners and sushi chefs well. They have never disappointed me.

It's been awhile since I've been back to GR and I never really came here for their sushi, though i'm pretty sure its good. But whenever i come here i get their hibachi plates. They are fried but after you are done, you feel healthy for some odd reason. Great environment. I especially love the area where you have to take off your shoes to dine. It's a great little private area for large parties!

    (4)
  • Ellie F.

I may be spoiled, but this just wasn't that great. It was seat yourself (which is fine), and it took a while for a server to come by (which is not). We almost started flapping our arms, as I was quite hungry, and it wasn't very busy. I was also annoyed that approximately half the rolls on the menu had mayo or cream cheese - gross! I get that these must sell, because there's always some "Philly" option... but I don't want it anywhere near my sushi. I won't be returning to Tokyo for that reason, even though the simple rolls I got were OK.

We have eaten at many sushi restaurants all over the world and tokyo grill is our favorite by far!!!

Maybe the waitress we had during our first visits wasn't a fan of custom orders, since then, I've had no issues ordering custom rolls. Tempura asparagus and cream cheese it is.

Best Japanese food in the metro area of Grand Rapids! Excellent service, great interior, and large choice of Japanese dishes! This place reminds me al ot of Tokyo!

Love this place! We eat here almost everytime we visit GR. The sushi is excellent, the tonkatsu is always good. My parents thought tried the agedashi tofu and noted that this was the best agedashi they had ever tried. My wife always gets the Tempura Udon, and the kids get the tempura shrimp. Everytime I go we always mention that we want to venture off from our favorite dishes...but we never do because our favorites are just soooooo good. Excellent service and excellent food. The decor is also interesting and clean.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. Our usual Sushi place is Mikado. Tokyo Grill was very good. On a par with Mikado, but with alot more variety. Hibachi chicken was good. Sushi was excellent. Sure, it's not LA or Tokyo, but pretty good for GR. Both of us ordered the Sushi Combination platters. A great value! I got the Shrimp Tempura combo. Came with three pieces of sashimi, six pieces of california roll, rice, salad, awesome grilled veggies, plus the tempura. All for $15.95. The tempura wasn't as good as Mikado, but the sashimi and sushi may have been better. They also have Tonkatsu and Udon and many specialty Maki rolls. Will be trying those next time!

  • Jenna S.

The vegetarian sushi here was really stand out. Usually standard veg fare is a cucumber/avocado roll, but at Tokyo Grill I had so much more to choose from. Kimchi and assorted sea vegetables really took vegetarian sushi to a new level for me. My boyfriend and the rest of our friends all really enjoyed the fish as well. As an appetizer we had the fried tofu and it was quite delicious. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated the options Tokyo has to offer, its better than any veg sushi in NYC that I can think of off hand. Our local friends said the orange flowery thing they give you at the end is a staple at all Grand Rapids area sushi joints, but for me, I thought it was a cute little effort to top off a good dining experience.

I went to this place one time thinking it will blow my mind based on the ratings... NOT!!! I have to admit the foods were good, however the service here was so CRAPPY!!! The order was made wrong on top of waiting for food to come. People were coming in after us were gettting their foods before us!!! At the end of the meal... I waited for my change and left w/o leaving a tip! I was that UPSET!!!

  • Lesley H.

Such a treat and extremely friendly people!! There's plenty of sushi options for "sushi beginners" like myself which I truly appreciated. The green tea was very soothing and I LOVED onion salad dressing on their salad. You are served a refreshing orange in a dish with your check, it's such a nice touch! Presentation and atmosphere also pleased us, we'll be back :)

After reading the positive reviews here on Yelp we decided to give Tokyo Grill & Sushi a try. We walked in a waitress immediately came up and seated us. Looking around the restaurant it is nicely decorated and clean. We started with the soft shell crab appetizer. I must admit, I'm a bit of sushi novice so I really wanted to try it so I ordered the Shrimp Hibachi & sushi combo and my wife ordered the Beef Hibachi for our entrees. The appetizer came out and it was delicious! We were impressed and were looking forward to our entrees. The entrees came out shortly after and they looked great. Mine was on a cool looking plate with the sushi all lined up and it tasted as good as it looked. My wife's entree was also very good. After finishing our entrees the waitress came out with sliced up oranges with a toothpick stuck in it and our check. I had to remind her that I spotted the Tempura ice cream on the menu and that we were going to split that for desert. The ice cream came out and it was just as good as the rest of the meal. We were very impressed by this little Japanese restaurant stuck back in the strip mall off Breton and 44th st. We will defiantly be back (to try more Sushi!) and would recommend it to others.

Am so glad this place is close to home. Awesome sushi, and deliciously affordable fresh hibachi dishes. Grab some spicy tuna rolls and hot saki for an appetizer.

My favorite sushi in GR is Tokyo Grill, their menu is very extensive, and is immaculately clean!! They serve sake, beer & wine, years ago you could bring your own wine, and pay a corkage fee of $5-$10, I'm not sure if that policy is still in place. They have a lunch & dinner menu, we order sushi every time. Very fresh fish, excellent rice, & service is above and beyond, prices are very fair. You can even purchase the homemade ginger or onion dressings. We have tried so many different items at one time or another, while visiting home in GR, It's always one of my first stop after getting off the plane & last stop before heading home. You can check out the menu online, they have a great web site!!!

The seafood is super fresh here. Great lunch specials for people that work around there. Super sexy place to go on dates. If you are in to authentic Japanese/Korean food this is THE place to go in Grand Rapids.

Crunchy Maki. Just try it. Now to review... Tokyo Grill is my personal favorite place for sushi in Grand Rapids. I've been to Mikado, Shogun, Marado, and that crazy sushi buffet, Ming Ten, and none of them compare to Tokyo Grill as far as sushi goes. Good sushi, despite the American phenomena of the "super-sushi role," is all about the rice not the toppings, and Tokyo Grill seems to have it down. Making good sushi rice is a process involving sugar, vinegar, and wood to get the right consistency and moisture level. Traditionally, in the fall and winter there should be more sugar in sushi rice for a higher calorie count, and in the summer, less. This is a tradition kept alive by Tokyo Grill's sushi chefs, and it makes their Nigiri that much more enjoyable. That being said, their Americanized "super-sushi roles" are equally as delicious. As mentioned before, the crunchy maki is one of my favorite sushi roles. The flavor and texture come together perfectly. With the addition of some sake and/or Kirin and Mochi ice cream, I always enjoy my meals at Tokyo Grill and hope to continue to.

Not bad but not very good. I've come across much better sushi in Houston, Miami and Vegas. The service was slow. Gyoza mushy. Sashimi was decent, though rolls were 'eh' and the specialty ones overpriced. Doesn't warrant a return visit.

  • Traci T.

I've been to Tokyo Grill & Sushi twice. The first time for lunch and my meal was decent. Had a combo meal with shrimp and scallops. Second time I went for sushi. I live in chicago and thought the price for the basic, traditional rolls were pricey compared to what I'm used to. Other than the california rolls that my friend ordered, my rolls seemed puny. The service was also okay. Our order was taken promptly but we waited for what seemed like an eternity for someone to come check on us and to get the check. Maybe for the area is great, but I am led to believe that there should be better options in GR.

Chickenkatsu is so good. You get a lot more meat with the straight Katsu orders, but a lot more sides and variety if you order the Bento / Lunch Box version on the other page.

People that say that Tokyo Grill is authentic must be comparing it to other restaurants in Grand Rapids. The sushi is fine considering the substantive distance from any ocean, although i'll never get used to California rolls. My main complaint comes from the non-sushi dishes. Every time i've entered I've heard the cooks speaking Korean, which leads me to believe this is yet another Korean owned sushi shop masquerading as Japanese. This is ironic in a way, since Grand Rapids could use a good Korean BBQ joint but that's a digression. Getting a soggy bowl of katsudon is just weird. Where is the crunch? Where is the subtlety? It reminded me of meals in Seoul at 3 in the morning when they threw piles of food in a pan; the mixture was excruciatingly delicious but completely lacked the subtlety of Japanese cuisine. Tokyo Grill's food tastes good but it resembles Korea a lot more than Japan.
